By choosing a sports offer, we follow the historical traditions of the resort, as well as the current needs of our guests.
Since the beginning of the 20th century, the area of the resort has been used for tennis. That's why we already offer four professional tennis courts.
There are six professional tennis courts on the resort grounds – four outdoor and two indoor, allowing you to play tennis all year round.
Outdoor tennis courts
The resort has four professional outdoor tennis courts that meet high quality standards.
Two courts are equipped with GreenSet hard court surfaces in the ITF 1 (slow) category, which is one of the slower surfaces and provides excellent control over the game.
The other two courts have Tiger Turf artificial grass in the ITF 4 (fast) category, which offers faster and more dynamic play. All outdoor courts are fully lit, so you can enjoy tennis in the evening hours in the pleasant atmosphere of the resort.
Indoor tennis courts
The tennis infrastructure is complemented by two indoor tennis courts with a professional GreenSet surface, located in a fully air-conditioned multifunctional hall. This allows guests to play tennis all year round and in any weather, whether for training, recreational play or sporting events.
Skating also belongs to the environment of the Košice City Park. For the winter season, we are therefore preparing an ice rink for you in the area of the VILLA SANDY Resort, where individuals, couples or families will be able to enjoy joint winter fun. We plan to offer you great facilities for other park sports, such as jogging or yoga.
